At Animation Dingle, we believe in celebrating animation in all its forms and that means celebrating the incredible women who are pushing the industry forward. While animation has long been a space for creativity and innovation, it hasn’t always been a level playing field. Women have had to fight for recognition, opportunities, and a seat at the table. But things are changing.
That’s why we’re bringing back our Women in Animation Panel for its sixth edition, a vital conversation about progress, challenges, and what comes next. For students, professionals and those passionate about the industry, this panel is for everyone who wants to see animation grow and evolve into a more inclusive space.
The Power of Visibility & Representation
When we talk about women in animation, we’re talking about more than just numbers, we’re talking about the power of storytelling. Who gets to tell stories? Whose perspectives are seen on screen? Animation is at its best when it reflects the world around us, and that means making space for diverse voices, fresh perspectives, and untold stories.
Visibility matters and seeing women in leadership roles such as directors, producers, showrunners, and studio heads, paves the way for the next generation to step up, knowing that their dreams are possible. With this panel we aim to keep the conversation going, spotlighting trailblazers and inspiring change.
Breaking Barriers & Industry Shifts
The animation industry is undergoing a major shift. More women than ever are stepping into leadership roles, creating groundbreaking work, and reshaping what’s possible. Studios are recognising the value of diverse creative teams, and initiatives promoting mentorship, inclusion, and equal opportunity are gaining momentum.
Meet the Panel: A Lineup of Industry Leaders
We are honoured to welcome a powerhouse panel of trailblazing women, each bringing years of experience and a passion for pushing animation forward:

Encouraging the Next Generation
For students and young professionals, breaking into the animation industry can feel overwhelming. But one of the most important messages from our panel is this: you belong here.
Women in animation today are mentors, advocates, and role models, showing the next generation that there is space for their voices, their stories, and their talent. If you’re starting out, surround yourself with a strong community; seek mentors, connect with fellow artists, and never be afraid to take up space.
