The Big Pitcher
Submissions for Animation Dingle 2027 will open Autumn 2026.
Do you have what it takes to pitch to a crowd?
Each year, 6 students are chosen to present their animated idea to a panel of leading experts at Animation Dingle. The winner receives a 3-month paid internship at JAM Media and the opportunity to pitch at Cartoon Springboard.
Important Information:
- Submit your application as a One Sheet, between 300-350 words.
- Include a title, logline and synopsis.
- At least one image must be included with your submission.
- Submissions can be for an animated tv series, a pilot episode or short film.
- Competition is only open to 3rd Level students and recent graduates.
- Only one entry per student.
- Submissions are only open to an individual and cannot be a joint entry
- Submissions must be written and pitched in English
Selected students will pitch at Animation Dingle Conference on 19th March 2027 to a panel of animation industry experts.
All entrants must be able to travel to Dingle, Ireland to pitch in person and to work in Dublin for the entirety of the internship.
- Final Pitch Presentations will be a max of 6 minutes.
- JAM Media will work with all selected applicants to help prepare the pitch and offer help and tips.

Submit your idea to be in with a chance to win a 3 month paid internship at JAM Media and the opportunity to Pitch at Cartoon Springboard Oct 2026, which will take place in Madrid.
Submissions can be for an animated tv series, a pilot episode or short film. JAM Media will share tips and tricks ahead of your pitch.
Selected students will pitch at Animation Dingle Conference on 20th March 2026 to a panel of animation industry experts.
- Simply submit your idea as a One Sheet, between 300 and 350 words, through ‘The Big Pitcher’ application form below
- Make sure to include Title, Longline and Synopsis of your pitch
- At least one image MUST be included with your pitch idea
- Competition is only open to 3rd Level students and recent graduates
- Only one entry per student
- Submissions are only open to an individual and cannot be a joint entry
- Submissions must be written and pitched in English
- Final Pitch Presentations will be a max of 6 minutes
