About Dingle:
Animation Dingle takes place in the small fishing town of Dingle in county Kerry. It is located on the West Coast of Ireland, along the Wild Atlantic Way. It is famous for its beauty and atmosphere, featuring a variety of pubs, restaurants, cafes and craft shops.
Due to its size, Dingle has a finite amount of accommodation options. If you intend to stay within the town, we recommend that you book your accommodation as soon as you possibly can.
The closest large town is Tralee. Here you will find the closest bus station, train station and hospital. It is approximately 50 minutes from Dingle by car.
Getting to Dingle
Dingle is located on the West Coast of Ireland. There are many transport options available, but it is still a rural location. Please ensure you plan your trip accordingly.
Kerry Airport is located in Farranfore. It is approximately one hour away from Dingle via car.
You can fly directly into Kerry Airport via London Luton and Frankfurt Hahn Airport.
There are also two daily flights from Dublin Airport to Kerry Airport.

Route from Cork – approx 2 hours, 25 minutes.
Route from Belfast – approx 6 hours, 5 minutes.
There is a coach service from Dublin to Tralee or Killarney that runs regularly and has reasonable fares.
Onward taxi and bus links can be arranged from Tralee to Dingle.
