Volunteer to be a Film Selector for Animation Dingle 2026!
Every film entered into Animation Dingle is watched and scored by multiple selectors to ensure fairness and to keep our programme fresh and exciting. This is where you come in. If you are passionate about animation and are able to commit to watching between 8-10 hours of short films between October 2025 and December 2025, then please get in touch.
In return, Film Selectors will receive:
– A Professional Pass for Animation Dingle 2026 (value €280)
– Programming Credit in the Animation Dingle 2026 Brochure
– Experience in film curation and festival programming.
Please note: failure to successfully complete watching all assigned shorts will result in revocation of the above.
We particularly welcome applications from a variety of backgrounds and from those who identify with groups under-represented within the Irish animation and festival industries, including people living with disabilities, people of colour, people with low socio-economic backgrounds and more.

WHO CAN Apply?
- Volunteer position that is best suited for animators, filmmakers, creatives, and those looking for film programming experience.
- Professional experience in animation is not required, however applicants must be bale to display a knowledge and passion for the medium.
- This role is not open to students currently in full-time education.
